Before and After: Striped Round Table

Hello! I just finished up on this table, this was a really really fun one to do! It sanded nicely, it took the paint well, everything just seemed to go nicely the whole way.  I couldn't decide a design, and eventually settled on stripes since I haven't done them in so long. I chose thick, almost nautical stripes.  Here's the before:
I feel like these tables are a dime a dozen. Literally, I see them everywhere! But, they are solid wood which is really great.  If you have a good base to start with, you're good to go. And so it went:

This turquoise is actually the same color as the top half of my kitchen. It's really bright, and wonderful.
 A lil staging....
There it is! It's up for sale, and will soon be in a local shop as well. I'll let you know where as soon as it's confirmed.  Have a great one!

p.s. finally a profile pic! Not so mysterious anymore... haha. Oh, and if that's a camo shirt you're wearing, you just earned points in my book.

  5. Aw, thanks to you both! Hehe, Katie, don't worry about it - SO many people didn't know if I was a guy or a girl, especially with an androgynous name like "Jesse"... I thought it was cool to leave that up to the reader, and then I was getting harassed about not showing my face so I thought, alright alright... I'll come out with it already! I've debated putting it back to a pic so the new followers can experience the mystery hahaha...

I guess I am a brunette though, unless that's a term just for girls? I have no clue!

  11. Thanks! It's a paint by Behr, but sadly I don't have the name anymore. It's from when I repainted my kitchen. The best description I can think of it Aqua Fresh.. haha, I hope that helps. It's a very greeny teal, almost 1950's style kitchen teal.

    1. I see them all the time! Darn. Try, craigslist......thrift shops..... garage sales? It's a fairly common table. Figures that when you try and find it you can't get it! Good luck.....
