Thank you! For this desk I actually painted all the edges black first, because that's the color I wanted to show through. Then after I painted the top coats, I used a fine grade sanding sponge to gently rub the white off to expose the black. I did it a bit harder in some areas to let the wood show here and there too, there's nothing like some good layering to add character! So pretty! I have a desk I've been meaning to do this to. How do you get the edges all worn-looking?
